Passline Bet – you place your bet on the Passline and a new shooter (a new player) takes the dice; if he rolls a 7 or 11 you win, if he rolls a 2, 3, or 12 you lose.  If he rolls any other number the number becomes what is known as the Point number.  The shooter continues to roll the dice and if he rolls the Point number before he rolls a 7 you win evens on your Passline bet.  If a 7 is rolled before the Point number you lose.  If the shooter does roll the Point number before a 7 he continues to roll the dice and the next roll is known as a new comeout roll; the whole process starts again so you can bet on the Passline and the same rules apply as for the first roll of the dice.  If the shooter rolls a 7 before the Point number the dice are passed to the next shooter.

You may also like to try the Odds bet, which can be played once the initial bets are established.  This gives you the chance to bet up to double your original bet on the outcome of the roll of the dice.  If the Point is 4 or 10 you get paid 2 to 1, if the Point is 5 or 9 you get paid 3 to 2, if the Point is 6 or 8 you get paid 6 to 5.
